Heather Pepe grew up in Los Angeles, California. From an early age Heather was always interested in the arts. As a young child she often took trips to the many Art Museums and Galleries in L.A. with her Grandmother, which had a huge effect on her. It wasn’t until she was 10 when she first discovered the wonders of the Black Kohl eyeliner. From then on she was sold, turning all of her creative energy into the world of makeup. Practicing her craft on any willing face she could get her hands on, from high school girlfriends to family members. After High School Heather attended a makeup school to turn her passion into a career! This then led her to assisting some of the top makeup artists in TV and Film. Since then Heather has branched out on her own and made it her mission to help all woman not only look but feel her absolute best!Heathers work has graced the pages of numerous fashion magazines and various TV shows and commercials. Heather currently resides in downtown L.A. where she lives with her boyfriend and 2 dogs.

In this 2 day inspirational class you will learn the creative process that occurs on a professional photoshoot. Collaborating with the Hairstylist, Stylist & Photographer to achieve the perfect image.
Heather has been in the business of Makeup for the past 6 years, constantly honing her craft. She spent thousands of dollars on makeup school that left her clueless and in major debt! She learned more in 2 months working in the field and side by side with other artists then she did in 1 year of makeup school. So she has decided to help as many aspiring artists as possible, by saving them thousands of dollars and unecessary wasted time. She will teach you in 1 day the basics of the industry, and fill you in on everything you need to know to start your career as a freelance makeup artist.
Whether you are a makeup artist at a salon focusing primarily on weddings and you want to expand your talent and have always had an interest in working on phototshoots, or if you have always had a passion for fashion and makeup, this class is for you!

Page 3 Day 1 - Demonstrating beauty makeup & moving on to avant gaurd fashion forward looks. You will learn the different techniques necessary to working in print. How to create a makeup masterpiece using a basic beauty kit that can be transfered to your everyday clientele.
Heather will go over the business, how to get started, how to build your book, everything you need to know that no one ever tells you!!!
Day 2 - Photoshoot! You will be teamed up with a hairstylist to create your look. You will be working with a professional photographer, model and stylist to achieve beautiful high fashion images to start building your book. A disc of all your work will be given to you at the end of the class.

Where is the seminar held?
The seminar will be held both days at a studio in downtown Los Angeles. When you register for the seminar we will email you a call sheet with all the information you need.
How long is the Seminar ?
The first day is scheduled for 6 hours. The second day is scheduled for longer depending on how the shoots go, on real photo shoots, you never know what can happen.
Will lunch be provided?
We will provide snacks and light food for the day, but will break for an hour each day for lunch when you can grab something local or bring your own.
What time does the class start?
When you register for the seminar we will send you all the details you will need, including address of studio, call time, local accommodations, restaurants and
if you have any further questions they will be answered promptly.
What if I dont have everything I need in my makeup kit for the day of the shoot?
If you are missing something basic in your kit then Heather will help you figure out a way to make it work or let you use something from her kit.
When will I get the disc of images?
After the shoot we will send you the disc in the mail within 5 days. You will be responsible for retouching (if necessary) and printing for your portfolio. (I can recommend local places I use for my book)
What if there are not enough Makeup Artists for the class?
If there are not enough artists we will reschedule for a later date that works for all the registered artists . Your registration will transfer on to the newly scheduled class, if you can not make the NEW class date you will be reimbursed.
